We all love our cars so much that we get to the point where when we have to share we wage small scale wars over who gets to it first. It was an ad waiting to happen and Toyota’s team got to it first.

In this ad we witness a lovely scene of a young married couple sleeping soundly when a barely audible alarm sounds and wife springs to her feet, take a look at her sleeping love and goes off to shower, only to be electrocuted by a hair dryer left carelessly in the shower, the noise wakes up the husband who jumps to his feet to check out… his car?

At this point of the ad I was like “wtf?” but when the series of mishaps on both of their side continued it became obvious that both of them has set up numerous booby traps just to slow the other one down on the way to the car. The ad ends explosively, with the man blowing up the house and the wife in it, humming happily and patting his car lovingly… But there’s a twist too, I won’t tell you what it is, take a look for yourself.
