This FedEx vintage video is one of the best TV commercials of all time, the fast talking John Moschitta got famous on it’s account and FedEx attracted millions of users trough the USA thanks to the speedy way he talks. It is not some fancy high tech commercial, after all it was filmed way back in 1981, that is ancient when it comes to advertisement business, but it still has charm and wit to make anyone smile while watching it.

The ad introduces us to frantic world of eighties when company empires were built overnight and they fell down just as fast, where a manager of FedEx branch is holding everything in his hands, dealing with customers, managing new employers, giving out assignments to old ones, taking trips, all in the name of his company’s progress. It is nothing unusual, but the way John Moschitta talks is making this ad stand above all else, he blabbers on with a speed of over 450 words per minute, forcing people around them to be quick or drown under his verbal flood.

This tall slim over worked man with bags under his eyes that suggest he’s keeping up this ferocious life tempo at least 6 days of the week represented what kind of people FedEx is putting in charge of their customer’s shipments, and people believed them, FedEx is still no1 shipping company.
