However, it is when he is sent on an assignment to Las Vegas, accompanying an insurance-fraud investigator Virgil that all of his former vices come back to tempt him. He sets out to Vegas to check out a suspicious car accident, and sees this as a perfect opportunity to get a promotion at work, while also realizing that he can not run away from his gambling addiction but he can deal with it head on.
