This TV commercial is not new, it’s been aired in Britain first time back in 1989, and it still brings smile to the face of anybody watching it. Hamlet Cigars commercials of the time prised themselves with the clever wit and irony so tick you can cut it, setting your average every day man in a stressful situation, and then handing him a cigar to make all his worries go away. This one is the most famous of the entire series, starring Gregor Fisher trying to get his picture in a photo boot.

As Murphy’s law states something you expect will happen when you least expect it and poor Gregor has failed to take his picture even after three attempts, always something interrupted him, but in true English gentleman’s manner he didn’t go mad with anger, he just whooped out a cigar to ease his nerves Pure gold, even after all these years, this sort of black humor and parody cannot age and cannot go out of fashion.
