After a ruined date with her boyfriend, where Anna was expecting to be proposed to but received a lovingly, dull pair of earrings, the devastated spinster receives an advice from her old man. It is an old Irish custom, that on leap day, the woman is the one to do the proposing.

So, Anna decides to take his advice and go to Dublin to do just that. What she doesn’t know, is that her plane will be diverted to Wales! In this hilarious romantic comedy Anna takes a ride from a handsome Welsh pub-owner to Dublin, and finds out that nothing will go as she expects. Hopelessly romantic Anna will be brought down to earth by this gem of a man on this quest she embarks upon, but she will eventually have to make a decision.
