The 22nd James bond film to be released is named “Quantum of solace” and handing over the reins to Marc Forster is Martin Campbell, the director of “Casino Royale” and the man responsible for introducing Daniel Craig as the new James bond to a very skeptic audience. He succeeded immensely with the effort and Casino Royale has become the best James Bond film to date. Quantum of Solace is said to pick up from where Casino Royale left off. Casino Royale traces the path of how James Bond becomes the super spy that he now is infamous for.
Quantum of Solace will be strengthened by the directorial genius of Marc Forster, the German born director who has films like “Finding Neverland, Oscar winner “Monster’s ball” as well as the recent, critically acclaimed drama “The Kite Runner” to his portfolio. As he claims himself to be Swiss, due to his relocation to Switzerland with his German parents, Marc Forster becomes the first director from a Non-Commonwealth nation to direct a James Bond movie produced by Eon productions. The new James Bond code named Bond 22, has Daniel Craig playing the super spy and Judi Dench playing “M”. The ladies of a Bond film deserve special mention and here the lead pair is played by Olga Kurylenko as Camille and Jemma Arterton as Agent Fields. The theme of a James bond movie also deserves notice, where Amy Winehouse was initially charted to create the theme song; later negotiations saw the theme song shift hands to Alicia Keys and White Stripes front man Jack White, with Alicia on the vocals. The tune is said to debut along with a Coke zero Ad on the 28th of October.
The latest James bond promises a lot in the way of gadgets, women and stunts, with headlines about car crashes associated with the movie production, one can only assume they are so good and hence as risky. The movie premieres 31st October in the UK.
