Doomsday movie trailer for 2012

The apocalypse is upon us! According to Mayan calendar, 2012 will be the year of our undoing. Well that’s what this movie trailer is trying to pull off. This movie plays like a commercial documentary, portraying the life of unfortunate survivors of the apocalypse predicted so long ago.

The sky darkens, the meteors shower down upon earth, the seas swell to cover the land and all we see in the movie sneak peak is John Cusack hogging the screen. I know many people think he’s a great actor, but for heaven’s sake, I’m watching this trailer to see bits and pieces of heart-stopping action, not to admire his devilish handsomeness!

Well, while we’re spoon-fed the sop story of John Cusack’s tale of survival and the love he feels for his son, the entire world around them is crumbling, and the government is trying to find a way to save human species from extinction by making giant ships that should protect a number of humans big enough to assure the continuity of human race.

The 2012 movie trailer just hints at the action we are going to see once the movie hits the screens, but that’s enough to keep me on my toes.
