Battlestar Galactica is an American science fiction show that follows the events after the second war against Cylons. Now, when the twelve colonies are destroyed, Commander of the Battlestar Galactica, Adama, and President Laura Roslin are looking for the thirteenth colony, the planet Earth. The existence of such a colony is only rumored, but they have no other option but to look for it because they are otherwise doomed. The morale is low, crushed by the heavy defeat from the Cylon robots, and their supplies are quickly fading away.

The task of finding the thirteenth colony is made much more difficult with constant attacks by the hunting Cylons and their spy, infiltrator units as Gaius Baltar helps them in their hunt. The fleet is not only targeted by the vicious hunters, but also suffers from internal problems – the struggle for political power. This political battle does not help, however pretty soon several hint appear that may suggest that Adama’s idea about Earth may be more that just a bluff. The hope is not dead yet.
