Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant movie trailer review

Darren Shan is bored with his life in a cosy town in suburbs and he’s waiting for something to happen to shake his life. The event that turned out to be defining point of his life is the coming of Freak Show to town, where he meets an old vampire that turns him into a vicious beast of the night, ferocious stalker that drinks blood and turns into bats… or not!

A brilliant plot, the trailer shows us how Darren is coping with his new life that is not so different than his old one. No killing, no fangs, no immortality, just the craving for raw steak and ability to walk on walls and move quickly. He’s not even undead, he just ages slowly.

Movie teaser I saw shows u s what his life in the cirque looks like and foreshadows an vampire-hating enemy Darren will have to fight in the climactic end of the movie. Time of release is 28th October, so until then we are limited to movie sneak peaks and reviews.
