Dance Flick is a hot new movie about Megan’s only dream in the world; to go to the highly esteemed Julliard dance school and achieve her calling of becoming a professional dancer, which she has wanted to be since she was a little girl. In the middle of her dance auditions for getting into the prestigious school, her mother is tragically killed in a car accident and Megan’s life crumbles around her. She is forced to move to another city, where her father lives.

He is in a terrible, low-income housing facility that is located in a decrepit building that is on the verge of being shut down for health and sanitary reasons. She enrolls in an inner city school, but has given up on dancing since her mother’s death. However, she hooks up with a group of street dancers and tries to find others to participate in their group in order to win a local dance contest that will earn them a whopping $5,000.
