Family Guy is a wonderful animated series that shows the Griffin family in many interesting adventures and hilarious sketches. The Griffin family lives in Rhode Island and it includes the parents, morbidly obese Peter and his wife Lois, their two problematic teenage children Chris and Megan, a martini-drinking dog named Brian who is smarter than everyone else in the house, and a mutant baby named Stewie, whose ultimate goal in each episode seems to be to eradicate his entire family.

The characters are typical stereotypes which mock the American society. Each of the episodes is full of seemingly random, train-of thought sketches where the protagonists encounter many hilarious and insane situations and celebrities, and although there seems to be little to do with the plot of the episode, each of the sketches is incredibly funny and will keep you glued to your seat all the time.

The family often parodies pop culture and celebrities, and there is a signatory flashback type of sketch where Peter remembers some random event from the past and goes on to retell it, which means that hilarity ensues.
