The comedy event of the year, Funny People combines some of the greatest comedic actors of the last two decades into one great movie. Adam Sandler, who dominated the 1990s with hits like Happy Gilmour and The Waterboy, teams up with Seth Rogen, who has recently recorded a very long string of successful comedies, will hook up for the greater good of the comedic community. Sandler plays George, a highly successful stand-up comedian who learns that he has a disease that is untreatable and that we will die in less than a year. Rogen plays Ira, a struggling comic who idolizes George.

After playing a club together, George befriends Ira and makes him his personal assistant. They become great friends throughout George’s struggle with the disease, and later with remission and learning that he is actually not going to die. A very touching and inspiring comedy that is sure to be a big hit this year.
