Grey’s anatomy is a primetime series drama which aired on ABC, replacing Boston Legal in mid season. The show centers on Dr Meredith Gray, played by Ellen Popmeo and her struggles at the Seattle Grace Hospital. She is a daughter of the well renowned surgeon and she wants to become one. The series start when Meredith is an intern in the surgery of the hospital and follows her through her career as she becomes a resident doctor. In addition to Meredith, the show follows a number of other interns, Meredith’s colleagues and physicians who are mentors to the interns.

The main characters are the five interns of the Seattle hospital –Meredith, Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), George O’Malley (T. R. Knight), Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl) and Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh). The show follows their struggles in the hospital as well as their intricate and complicated private lives outside the hospital. Beach of the five leading characters is masterfully developed and intriguing, and as the show progresses through seasons, you will become more and more interested in their lives and the outcome of their every day problems.
