Heroes is a science fiction TV show, centered around seemingly ordinary people around the world who discover that they have supernatural powers. They try to use their powers so that they could save the world from a certain end, described in heavy imagery by a precognitive painter – who paints what he sees in the future. The series follows and imitates the scenery and the storytelling outline of the comic books, where each major event is shown in a series of shorter episodes.

Each of the seasons features ordinary people who discover that they have superhuman powers and the episodes show them as they explore their powers and learn how to live with them and use them to stop the end of the world and also how to cope with them in their normal lives.

There is a group of ordinary people who are trying to understand those supernatural powers, and they are all somehow linked to a secret organization known only as The Company, an organization which is trying to control the people with superpowers and use them to stop and explosion which would destroy New York City.
