Knowing is the newest Nicholas Cage movie scheduled for theater release on March 20th, 2009. The plot is about a teacher (played by Nicholas Cage) who receives a time capsule that was buried deep in the backyard of the elementary school he teaches at in 1958. The contents of this capsule are astonishing, revealing a series of important numbers that were drawn on a piece of paper by a mysterious girl at the date of the time capsule’s creation. After the son of John Koestler (Nicholas Cage) takes home the piece of paper with numbers on it, they found the encoded message to be related to important dates and coordinates of major disasters the past 50 years. That is not all, as John continues to decrypt the message he learns that it foretells additional events, one leading to Armageddon. After he takes his findings to the FBI, they think he is a lunatic and turn a blind eye. John is forced with the decision to take matters into his own hands and find a way to save humanity from the end of the world.
