Based on the SNL sketch of the same name the movie sample promises the film to be a hilarious ride of non stop laughter. Will Forte’s character MacGruber has stopped using weapons since his wife was murdered 10 years ago, and relies on fighting crime with just his bare hands. So when he discovers that his worst enemy, Dieter von Cunth (Val Kilmer) has jacked the X5 nuclear warhead from a Russian convoy and has managed to transport it to U.S. soil, MacGruber knows that’s his call for action. Dieter is a brilliant but mad man, who plans to turn Washington, D.C. into dust. And MacGruber is the only hope for stopping him. MacGruber wants nothing but the best men on his side so he assembles a team of the finest American heroes. Assigned to work with him is Lieutenant Dixon Piper (Ryan Phillippe), his second in command. With Vicki St. Elmo also on his team, MacGruber and his heroes set off to bring down one of the World’s most notorious criminals in their own unconventional way.
