Orphan is a scary upcoming thriller is based on a true story of a husband and wife who lost a baby. After the tragic event, John and Kate decided that it would be best to adopt a child. The find a 9 year-old girl who although appears to be innocent, has some very dark secrets within. Esther, the adopted daughter appears to be a normal and innocent child on the outside, but inside there are evil thoughts bubbling within her and she commits heinous acts along the way.

Kate begins to suspect something is wrong with the girl and tries to uncover the real evil buried deep within the girl that is waiting to come out. After discovering that something is truly wrong with her newly adopted daughter Esther, Kate goes through great lengths to stop Esther from spreading her evil. Kate struggles to convince those around her of Esther’s problems, including her family which Esther has tricked into believe that she is normal.
