Public Enemies is an action-packed thriller with some of Hollywood’s biggest names and highest paid stars. The film includes big-name leading men Johnny Depp and Christian Bale in lead roles, along with Oscar winner Marion Cotillard. This is the tale of famed bank robber John Dillinger, played by Depp, and his unbelievable true-life tales of amazingly well orchestrated bank robberies during the Great Depression of the 1920s in America.

Dillinger is a very important figure in American pop culture and history, with his string of remarkable robberies making him both a hero and folklore legend of urban America as well as one of the most wanted criminals ever in the country. The movie follows Dillinger and the fledgling J. Edgar Hoover-led FBI that is trying to catch the great crook but is having a hard time doing so. The FBI goes through unbelievable measures, even teaming up with other outlaws, to finally catch up to Dillinger and his rowdy crew.
