After the success of such movies as Sin City and the Batman series, Whiteout is yet another adaptation of a comic book series. It stars the gorgeous Kate Beckinsale, who is a U.S. deputy marshal, the only one assigned to a post in Antarctica, who now must investigate a gruesome murder that occurred on the frozen tundra of the continent, as the arctic winter games drawn near. The film is expected to stay very faithful story-wise to the original comic and is said to be a very ambitious project with a very interesting way of storytelling and a very demanding and expansive landscape to work with.

Never before have you seen a suspenseful thriller set at the South Pole – a very extreme environment for people to be interacting in and trying to uncover a murder mystery. Whiteout will reel in new fans for the comic strip and be sure to please long time fans with how closely it stays faithful to the original comic.
