Recently graduated Ryden is stuck at a turning point in her life and is not sure what to do. She always had good grades, finished high school, got a great college scholarship and finished school easily. However, she is having a hard time making the next transition, as she expects to find a great job and find the apartment of her dreams in the city and continue her life as she had planned it. However, the dream job she was aiming for was stolen right under her nose by her college nemesis, forcing Ryden to move back home.

Now stuck with her weird and funny family, a strange and stubborn father, cheap and anal mother, borderline racists grandmother and strange little brother, Ryden is feeling increasingly suffocated by their presence as she continues to get rejection after rejection in search of a perfect job so that she can finally move on with her life. The only joy she has is in spending time with her best friend from childhood and getting to know her hot new neighbor a lot better, but she has to work hard to try and get her life back together and on the right course again.
